Care And Maintenance
Terracotta, when properly cared for, can last for generations. Here’s how to maintain your Palini pieces
By following these steps, your Palini terracotta pieces will stay beautiful and functional for years to come.

Do's
Pre-use soak: Always soak your terracotta product in water for at least 6 hours before first use to seal the natural pores of the clay.
Gentle cleaning: Use a soft sponge and mild soap for cleaning. Terracotta is porous, so avoid soaking the pieces for long periods after use.
Proper drying: Allow the product to air dry completely before storing it in a well-ventilated space.
Heat care: When using on stovetops or in ovens, start with low to medium heat and gradually increase to avoid thermal shock.

Dont's
Avoid sudden temperature changes: Avoid moving terracotta directly from the fridge to the oven, as this may cause cracking.
No metal utensils: Avoid using metal utensils to prevent scratches. Opt for wooden or silicone utensils instead.
No dishwashers: Hand wash terracotta pieces; never place them in a dishwasher.
